Fully manufactured calibrations do not require adjustment, shifts or improvement in the field; they are suitable for all types of crops, of seasonal, breeding and geographical variations. Calibrations do not need to be modified every time when new breeds, lines or varieties appear, or due to any change of climate conditions.

The success of Infratek is guaranteed by two innovations: applying spectroscopy in transmission mode and using the monochromator that gives a full range, unlike conventional filter-photometers. This provided a unique reproducibility of results and the possibility of transferring calibrations from instrument to instrument. In Infratek, the light goes through the whole grains and so reflects the real chemical composition of the whole grains. When pouring unconditioned grains into the funnel, the analyzer will indicate how much the parameters differ from those required.
