The groats mill is designed for buckwheat groat processing into instantly cooked cereals - peeled-buckwheat groats and the broken buckwheat.
The installed capacity of current collectors is 63.5 kW. The consumption of steam with a pressure of up to 0.6 MPa per ton of processed grains is not more than 600 kg. The operation of the groats mill for buckwheat processing is provided by the operator from the central control panel or computer.

Actual yield of groats due to the offered technology from grains of basis conditions GOST 19092: Basic yield of groats due to the current standards:
Peeled-buckwheat groats – 70 - 72% Peeled-buckwheat groats – 62%
Broken buckwheat – 0,5 - 1,5 % Broken buckwheat – 5%

The actual yield of groats according to the proposed technology is indicated, provided that its quality meets the current market requirements, i.e. due to a number of indicators above the requirements of GOST 5550.

Requirements to the building for the groats mill installation:

  • Overall dimensions of the groats mill: width - 9 m, length - 9 m, height - 8 m.
  • For the installation of the groats mill, one-storied premises with an area of ​​not less than 100 m2 with the ceiling height of 8 m are needed, without including spaces for finished goods and waste products.
  • For the installation of the groats mill, the floor with concrete screed is prepared. Requires the Construction of foundations based on the sketches of "OLIS" Ltd. are required. The walls are enough to plaster and whitewash.
  • Since the groats mill is fully assembled at the manufacturing factory, its complete assembly on site takes no more than twenty days. At the same time, the need for cutting, welding and drilling of metal at the site of assembly is excluded.
  • Within the framework of an individual project, the groats mill for buckwheat processing should be equipped with a buckwheat husk steam boiler room, grain acceptance, storage and accounting lines, bulk storage and disposal of waste, mechanized sacking of cereals in bags and packing them in small containers, as well as finished goods accounting facilities.
  • Combustion of the husks obtained during the processing of buckwheat, without the use of purchased fuel, completely meets the technological need for steam production.
