Purpose:

Groats Mill for Buckwheat Processing with production capacity of 120 tones/ day (24 hours) is designed for production of peeled buckwheat. The groats mill equipment ensures the quality of groats – which shall be not lower than GOST (National State Standard) requirements, the groats yield is higher than the accepted standards mentioned above and makes it possible to confidently meet the requirements of the modern market. The groats mill is created in accordance with traditional technology which includes hydrothermal processing with the application of the steam method. The available technology is significantly improved and enriched with a number of innovations by OLIS Company.

For mounting a groats mill, a 4-storey building is suitable, with no less than 3 m of floor height and at least 300m2 of floor surface. If there is no suitable building, it is recommended to make a constructional steelwork in form of a 4-level framework with the height of up to 16m and 12m х 24m dimensions for positioning the equipment. In this case, it is reasonable to adjust the cladding (the walls and roof) on reinforced concrete carcass and foundations, independent from the constructional steelwork for the equipment. The presumed height of the building is 18 m. Dimensioning specifications can be supplied with operator’s rooms, the workshop laboratory, storage rooms, etc.

For the purpose of implementing an individual design project, it is possible to make a connection between the groats mill and the following utility communications, such as:

  - The line for grains acceptance from motor-vehicle transport, as well as the preliminary cleaning;
  - The warehouse for distribution and storage of operating supply of grains with a line designed for conveying to processing;
  - The weighing and packing department with a possibility of packing the final products both into bags and into small packages;
  - The warehouse for bulk storage of bran and buckwheat husks with a delivery line to motor-vehicle transport.

The groats mill operates automatically. Performance control of the mill plant is supported by the operator from the central control panel.
