Constant horseshoe-shaped magnet ММ2165 (C-shaped) is for retrieval of metal foreign matters (particles of metals, ore minerals etc. that possess magnetic properties) from grains, flour, groats, mill offals, mixed feed and determination of their content in accordance with the standard methods. the average product sample weighing 1 kg is poured onto a smooth surface in an equal layer with a thickness of not more than 5 mm. Longitudinal and transverse grooves are made with the ends of the horseshoe magnet, so that they cover the entire surface of the product. After that particles of metal admixture are taken off the magnet. Admixture retrieval is carried out at least three times.
