Air separator VSN is designed for grain cleaning from impurities which differ in their aerodynamic qualities. It can be used in grain storages, mills, feed mills and cereal processing plants.
     Air separator VSN is designed with an open cycle of air. Air enters the operational area from outside and later returnes to the atmosphere. Air separator VSN has a setting chamber where light impurities are separated. To avoid dust emission the processed air has to be additionally purified. The air separator of this type is simpler in construction but needs an additional cyclone and fan installment.

Purpose:

Description:
The parent material enters the separator's pneumosorting channel where it is blown by the upward flow of air created by the crossflow fan. The purified product is discharged from the machine by gravity. Light impurities captured by the air are separated in the sediment chamber and removed via a screw conveyor and air is supplied to pneumosorting channel for later use. Therefore, this type pneumatic separator is structurally very simple but requires additional installation of the cyclone and fan.
